Argela Multiplay SDP is a key offering of Argela’s Service Delivery Framework, designed to address challenges faced by mobile and incumbent operators in assuring sustained service profitability, maintaining control over costs, managing complex relationships and unique business models with an increasing number of service and content providers. It enables operators to build a vibrant and growing community of service providers and virtual network operators.

Quadplay & IPTV Enabled
Quad Play is the term that describes being able to offer telephony, messaging, IPTV, internet access, and mobility services at the same time. Argela SDP Media Control module allows the operator
to open up multimedia control capabilities to third parties while giving complete control of the third parties to the operator. This means that operators can also offer, in addition to existing services, IPTV, media streaming, video communication, interactive video games and high speed internet access in a secure and reliable environment.
Argela Multiplay SDP also offers a field-proven IPTV solution with innovative blended services.

Next-generation Service Enablers
Argela SDP offers legacy and next-generation service enablers allowing operators to facilitate secure, consistent and scalable real-time access to the network capabilities. Being based on SOA and J2EE, Argela Multiplay SDP is flexible, easy to maintain and yet reliable and scalable. Access to service enablers is facilitated by a network abstraction layer that offers wide range
of network protocols for maximum interoperability with service platforms. At the service exposure layer Argela SDP offers ParlayX-based easy-to-use Web Services interfaces as well as other protocols allowing service providers to quickly implement, integrate and charge for value-added services and content in post-paid as well as pre-paid.
Service Developer’s Kit
Argela SDP provides a service developer’s kit (SDK) to facilitate the development of new enablers that are fully integrated with Argela SDP. Operators can utilize Argela SDP SDK to add new capabilities to the service delivery platform.
SLA Management
Extensive Service Level Agreement (SLA) management features are integrated across the platform to facilitate the definition of service levels during the sign-up phase and their enforcement in real-time. SLAs are defined per third party application and can be enriched with additional policy rules according to business needs.
