Argela Professional Services team which consists of project managers and coordinators, senior architects, analysts, senior/ junior developers, operation & support engineers and testers have been in charge of several projects in telecom operators so far. The expertise area of the team lies in a wide range in the telecommunication and IT areas such as IN Platforms, Service Delivery Platform, Converged Network Technology including Legacy network, GSM and SIP world and Business Process Management based projects, SOA Architecture, Data Base Modelling and Management.
Business consultancy on the internal processes of the telecommunication companies is an other interest area for Argela PS team. So far, Argela has contributed big international projects of this kind where the business processes are anlayzed, redefined and automized which at the end created a serious benefit in terms of time and operational effort to the target companies.
Argela PS team management activities are executed by high profile members who have at least 15 years of telecommunication experience in the international big telecommunication companies. They have signed many national/international telecommunication project as managers.
Argela Professional Service can be requested as a turn key solution whose governance and management is under Argela responsibility. Argela has signed many time this kind of projects and successfully accomplished.
An other possibility is to offer technical staff of requested skills (analysts, architects, senior/junior developers, testers) to the operators to be part of a project under their management.
The team has been awarded number of times as the most successul among others such as “ most successful VAS project” by Sun Microsystems in 2005. The projects completed so far were turn-key solutions whose management were also accomplished by Argela. In these projects, Argela has cooperated with multinational companies, such as Accenture, HP, Ericsson, Huawei, and Telcordia.

PROGRAMME : Service Delivery Platform Architecture
OVERALL PROJECT DEFINITION : Adaptation of Legacy VAS Platforms to the SDP Architecture. Full responsibility starting with the detailed analysis until migration and handover. Contribution to the architecture workshops.

- Project Management
- Analysis of the platform functionality in the legacy platform and determination of the functionalities to be carried over SDPA.
- End to end use case studies according to the capabilities of each VAS platforms, including existing and future services.
- Definition of each use case with integration to other SDPA components (Charging system, Network Interface, Solution Provider Gateway, Content Management Platform, Billing System, OSS/BSS System, Service Catalog Management Platform etc. )using SOA middleware capabilities.
- Delta analysis and the definition of the new functionalities or services to be opened to the SOA middleware.
- Detailed design and implementation of the adapter using J2EE technology. Implementation of workflows according to the services logic in the SOA using BPM technology.
- Data migration from the legacy platforms to the new Oracle DB platforms using advanced DB / storage development capabilities.
