Istanbul, Turkey - March 2, 2010 - TTNET, Turkey’s leading broadband operator, and Argela, a leading next-generation telecom solutions provider, today announced that TTNET launched Tivibu service running on Argela’s Web TV solution. Tivibu offers main broadband service along with other functionalities such as VoD(subscription and transaction), Pause Live TV and Time Shift TV. Tivibu also provides access to a variety of content including domestic and foreign films, popular TV series, documentaries, and children’s, lifestyle, and entertainment programs with its Choose & Watch feature – making cinema and television independent of time and place.

By leveraging Trillium software and integration expertise, Argela has been able to conduct extensive femtocell interoperability testing with multiple femtocell gateway providers while accelerating its entry into the rapidly growing femtocell market.

Entertainment services or more specifically the IPTV service could become a turning point in operators’ long term strategy. We believe that the differentiating factor amongst the emerging IPTV operators will be the converged and ubiquitous services offered by them.
