Argela, being one of the leading service delivery & enablement solution providers, sponsored the second global SDP event in 2008. This year’s SDP Global Summit was held between 16-18th September in Prague and Argela attended the event both as an exhibitor and as speaker & panelist.
In this year’s event Argela had a speech on “Positioning SDP to the IPTV and Triple/Quadruple Play Service Delivery Framework.” Bora Eliacik, Solution Delivery Director, shared Argela’s vision about multiplay service delivery framework, what the future will bring and what actions operators and technology providers should take in order to take advantage of this rapidly evolving technology. He focused on operators’ challenges in today’s environment, importance of convergence in this competition and how IPTV can be positioned as a blending terminal.

Entertainment services or more specifically the IPTV service could become a turning point in operators’ long term strategy. We believe that the differentiating factor amongst the emerging IPTV operators will be the converged and ubiquitous services offered by them.
