BÜLENT KAYTAZ / CEO, Board Member
As a CEO and founder, Bülent Kaytaz is responsible from the market strategy, the technology vision and their execution. Mr. Kaytaz brings over twentyfive years of design, development, business development and successful leadership experience in the field of telecommunications.
After his international experience of long years, Bülent Kaytaz brought his global vision to Turkey in 2000. Then he founded two companies in telecom technology area and leaded the innovation in both companies through intensive R&D activities. Before founding Argela, he founded Oksijen Technology, which used to be a provider of intelligent networks and core infrastructure elements for wireless and wireline communications networks. Within the three years of operation, the company brought great recognition to the global and Turkish telecommunications industries through strong regional business growth and global visibility. In former roles, he had a 5 years of experience at Nortel and more than 10 years of eperience at Alcatel, where he managed key software development projects in the areas of communications and Internet in Belgium, Norway and Turkey.
Bülent Kaytaz holds a B.S. in electrics and electronics from Marmara University, Istanbul, Turkey. He also earned a degree in MIS and an MBA from the European University in Belgium. In addition to his business activities, Bülent Kaytaz served as a visiting lecturer in computer and communications engineering at Marmara University in Istanbul.
SELİM SARPER / VP, Turk Telekom Group Relations
Selim Sarper is Argela's vice president in charge of operations with Turk Telekom group companies.
Before joining Argela, Selim ran a consultancy practice and provided business development services to various technology companies in the field of telecom. Previously, he served as vice general manager of Alcatel's e-trade division in Turkey where he oversaw pre-sales and after-sales customer services. In previous roles, Selim was responsible from research and development activities at Alcatel Teletas.
Selim plays an active role in industry organizations within Turkey. He is also a board member of the Turkish Technology Development Fund (TTGV), which provides low-interest loans to fund qualified technology projects and companies.
Selim holds an M.S. degree in electronics engineering INSA-Lyon in France. He also earned an MBA from the European University in Belgium.
ERCAN YILMAZ / VP, International Business Development
Ercan is Vice President, International Business Development for Argela.
In this capacity, he is responsible for leading Argela's business development efforts in international markets. With over 20 years experience in the ICT industry, Ercan supports the company's international expansion strategy by identifying and driving targeted areas of growth and focusing on global customers, partners and strategic alliances.
Ercan was previously with NCR, located in Dayton, Ohio, where he assumed global leadership positions in many diverse disciplines including technology strategy, business development, customer services and software engineering.
Prior to NCR, he held a number of senior management positions with AT&T in Central & Eastern Europe.
Ercan holds an MBA from Koc University and a BS degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from Bogazici University in Istanbul, Turkey. He also holds a Master's Certificate in Project Management from George Washington University.
